Sleep Deprived and Tired but Rewarded with Giggles, Hugs & Kisses

Bringing up a baby is the toughest job in the world for a Mother. We kissed goodbye to sleep from the moment we stepped into “Motherhood”.
Day in day out, our little one keeps us on our toes 24/7. It’s amazing how a tiny little fella can twist his or her parents around their tiny little finger. All they need to keep us on our toes is just one cry! We will then start to figure…Hungry? Poo? Wet diapers? Wanna sleep? Or just asking for cuddles?
Being always sleep deprived, we will normally end up looking really tired. With that it’s such a blessing if we are blessed with a loving hubby to always remind us when we apologise for looking plain…hair in a mess with no make up…and have him reply…”You always look beautiful to me baby…with or without make-up”.
When you see a mother looking tired, give her a hug or a pat on her back to encourage & remind her that she is doing a good job. Working morning till night, 365 days a year, with no leaves is indeed very tiring. She will need all the encouragement that she can get to keep pressing on.
Mother’s Day will be here in a few weeks time. I would like to salute all Mothers for their unconditional love & dedication towards their children. Remember…you are AWESOME!!

  1. The hardest job in the world is being a single parent. I have raised two, entirely on my own, for the last 17 years. With no help from their father and very little from my family. My children are 12 and 18 now. On a good day, when they aren’t fighting, I can say they are remarkable human beings. I have done a remarkable job!!! On a bad day, I can say: “I’m running away!!!” ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚
